The Beginning.

Late 2009 was the beginning of what was then just a project for studying purposes. Both Ollie and Lee were studying at Suffolk New College for a National Diploma in Music Performance, where the two were put into a band together to perform that Christmas at a College gig. Fairly early on, a friendship was made through both their love of music, and after getting to know one another they both realised that they both shared the same interests in music and writing original material.

In early 2010, Ollie took a trip to Lee’s house where they both sat down to eventually record their first song together “My Disguise”. After a few more times meeting up, they soon managed to put together an EP which they then used in College as a project. Throughout that year, more songs and ideas came together and eventually the project came to an end, and things went a bit quiet.

Come mid 2013, the pair managed to put together an album called “Believe, Hope, Survive”, which was released online to friends and family for a bit of fun, and was received very well. From then onward, both Ollie and Lee decided that this could be more than just a side project, and decided to find other members to form a full band.

Fast forward to 2015, In My Disguise finally found their bassist, Jonathan. Shortly after this time, the single “Rise and Fight” was released which was the first single released by the band. During some struggle to find a drummer, early 2016 welcomed George to the band and from this point onward the real fun began.

Debut EP – Achromatic

Mid 2016, In My Disguise began to work on their debut EP, “Achromatic”. The recording process was quite a drawn out process trying to balance between gigs and writing material ready. The first song was “Alive”, which was released as the debut single for the full line up, and soon after this “Fear” followed on to be the second release prior to the EP release.

In early 2017, In My Disguise signed to Domino PR, in the run up to the release of the EP where the single and music video for “Hour Glass” was revealed.
On the 19th of May, 2017 – “Achromatic” was released, which was soon followed by an onslaught of live performances and reviews.
